I’m with my partner in a superstore during rush hour;
everyone just got off work for the day
and they’re scrambling
for last minute groceries before they go home.

It’s crowded. It’s chaos.
I know that if I let go of my partner’s hand
— for even a second —
they’ll be swept away by the human tide.
